POLITICS and BANKING Where do I begin? Where does it end? The strings are being pulled and the regular folk are feeling the crunch. Has capitalism failed? I believe we are in for some dark days. Bailouts are not the answer. We have failed ourselves. Personal responsibility is the lesson we need to learn here. But weak minds like to place blame on wall street, or lenders that made inflated loans available. Lame ass people want to blame other people so they don't have to own their personal sh*$. When we get through this crisis, and we will, I hope level headed people rise up and take control of the sheep that follow one another. And I hope the sheep don't allow power hungry leaders to lead them down the path of ruin again. There is so much potential in this world. Lets start tapping it!
I am embarrased by what this government is doing and not doing. The government is a reflection of its people. Fat and bloated, like most of america. Clueless and unable to take responsibility for its mistakes. Saying you were from america used to be something to be proud of, however lately we are the laughing stock of the world. I love this country but I love this world more. We are one people though we are fragmented... We need to defrag the planet. But I guess we need to first defrag our own minds.
More and more humans are making it very clear that they don't deserve this beautiful world.
The media... need I say anything? What we are being fed through the media is warping our self worth. How can kids watch MTV and think they are OK cause what they see is so unreal. Men and women can't live up to the hollywood standard of what beauty is though they spend billions trying. We are spoon fed our morality through tv and radio. Censored to suit the executives that drive these companies... and most of which are hypocrites... (Hypocrite): a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion - adjective.
"Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions." Albert Einstein

The problem with this world is religion and the people that interpret it. Take away all religion and we're all equal. People hide behind their religion... their gods... their books... whatever, because they won't take responsibility for their lives. If something bad happens they blame everyone else but themselves. And in that blame they call the up their god for relief of their suffering. The answer to lifes problems is staring back at you when you look in the mirror. If someone does you wrong ask yourself what is it about me that makes people do me wrong. If someone lies to you ask your self what is it about me that makes this person feel the need to lie to me. If you're honest with your self you might not like what you see, and if you don't like what you see you are the only one that can make the changes so that you do like what you see.
It's very simple and it doesn't involve hocus pocus voodoo ritual. If you make your self a better human being then your world will be a better place. It's that easy. If you say to your self..."I've tried to make my life better but nothing ever changes", then you're not really trying. If you're thinking about doing your dirty laundry will they ever get clean? NO! You actually have to do the laundry to see results. DON'T ASK YOUR god TO DO YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY... YOU HAVE TO DO IT!! See you at the laundry mat...
